Agri House China is a youth-led initiative powered by international students and expert mentors committed to reimagining the future of food and farming. The initiative is shaped by students and mentors from Bowdoin College, Peking University, Tsinghua University, University of London, Wageningen University and Zhejiang University, our team spans Brazil, China, India, the United States, and Zimbabwe, bringing a truly global perspective to rural China’s transformation.

Why Agri House China?
The world is at a critical juncture where food systems must evolve to meet growing global challenges. Rural innovation and agriculture in China are undergoing rapid transformation, offering unique lessons and opportunities. Understanding how China collaborates and learns from global experiences is vital for building sustainable, equitable food systems.
While China is often studied for its advancements in business, technology, trade, and foreign policy, there is a pressing need to understand rural China's role in shaping food systems and addressing food security worldwide. Agri House China aims to bridge this gap by focusing on the dynamic relationship between rural China and the rest of the world.
